Senior Event Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Event, sales and customer management:
  • Active sales, acquisition and comprehensive consulting for national and international customers
  • Conducting customer and consulting meetings including personal visits to locations 
  • Individual quotation and order processing including calculations, contract negotiations through to their conclusion and actively followingup quotation statuses.
  • Evaluation of the events as well as sustained customer care and relationship management, after-sales management
  • Event conception and realisation
  • Planning, coordination, organisation, realisation and follow-up of major events, conferences and business events
  • Coordination of all event-related details of the location taking into account official stipulations
  • Coordination and oversight of internal departments and external service providers and partners
  • Strategy, marketing and networking
  • Development and realisation of a targeted marketing and sales strategy for the versatile event location
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding a network of agencies, partners, event organisers and potential new customers
  • Conducting market and competition analyses and implementing the derived findings
  • Professional representation of Motorworld Mallorca to renowned partners, business contacts and relevant communities

Your profile

  • Completed training as an event manager or graduate in the field of event management or comparable disciplines
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the event, function or trade fair industry 
  • Sound knowledge of the event and MICE industry as well as a solid understanding of complex event formats
  • Pronounced strengths in the acquisition of new customers as well as in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies
  • Strong persuasive powers, negotiating skills and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Confident, professional manner in dealing with customers and business partners
  • Strong hands-on mentality, capacity for teamwork and a high degree of initiative
  • Structured, goal- and customer-orientated work approach coupled with decisiveness and a sense of responsibility
  • Above-average commitment, ability to work under high pressure and efficient multitasking capabilities
  • High quality awareness as well as reliability and flexibility in a dynamic event environment
  • Pronounced talent and enjoyment in planning, organising and realising challenging events 
  • Independent and solution-orientated work approach even when under time constraints
  • Very good language skills – fluent in both spoken and written Spanish, Mallorquin, German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
